Archery II

A bow sight system that employs the use of pins.

Last night after bow hunting all day I realized that the distances I was comfortable practicing at were shorter that the distances that I needed to shoot while hunting. All bows have a sight system and most bows have a set of pins that are set at a certain distance. I was mindful that the arrow takes a parabolic path and an exponential function could be used to describe the distance between successive pins. As you can see in the photo, the last pin is exponentially farther down than the pin above it even though these pins are set on a linearly increasing target range (ex. 10yds, 20yds, 30yds, 40yds, 50yds).
