Archery

Archery target with multiple types of arrows.

Today, I practiced shooting my bow. Tomorrow is the opening day of the Alabama whitetail deer season and the first month is bow hunting only. While I was practicing I was mindful that the air that my arrow was traveling through could be viewed as a fluid. The drag forces due to the viscosity of the air slowed my arrow down and the lift forces acting on the veins of the arrow kept the arrow in flight.
