Swimming

Underwater picture of a swimmer pointing his toes and hands to reduce drag forces.
I was looking at some pictures of the Auburn swimming team and became mindful of the fluid mechanics they employ in their training. The swimmers are taught to point their toes and and point their feet. This is to reduce the drag force that any object would experience when traveling through a fluid. When you point your feet and toes is reduces the surface area of your body that is in contact with the water making you more streamline while reducing the drag force.
